Values & Purpose
This is how I work - and why I work.
Cultural Integrity First
As a proud Aboriginal Yorta Yorta creative, my work is grounded in cultural truth-telling, care, and responsibility. I approach every project through a Blak, sovereign lens - honouring community, Country, and kin. Cultural safety, protocol, and integrity are not negotiable.
Collaboration with Care
Creative exchange is powerful - but only when it’s built on mutual respect. I value honest dialogue, clear communication, and shared understanding. I work best with clients and collaborators who are open to learning, listening, and co-creating with care.
Community-Centred Practice
My heart lies with grassroots collectives, community-led spaces, and First Nations, queer, feminine creatives. I believe in creative practices that give back - economically, emotionally, and culturally. My work is not just for show; it’s part of something bigger than me.
Accountability Over Aesthetics
It’s not just about how something looks, but how it feels, who it’s for, and what it stands for. I value process over polish, ethics over ego, and responsibility over replication.
Creative Sovereignty
I make what I want, how I want. I don’t do extractive, tokenistic, or one-sided collaborations. If you’re working with me, you’re respecting my time, voice, culture and vision as an artist and a cultural practitioner - not just hiring a style.
What to Expect When Working with Me
Upfront conversations about timelines, budgets, expectations, and cultural boundaries.
A values-led approach where we work with respect and transparency from start to finish.
Flexibility in creativity, but firmness in cultural and personal boundaries.
Collaborative energy, especially when the project aligns with community outcomes or storytelling.
A commitment to excellence, not just in the final product, but in how we get there together.
